Private lessons for one person are $20 an hour. For 2 or more are $10 an hour per person.

New Technique Workshops
Join us the 3rd Saturday of every month to learn a new knitting technique. You can sign up for one or all of our classes. We'll explore variations in Knitting and purling, Cables, Lace, Fair Isle, K1 below, Short rows, Double Knitting, Entrelac, Intarsia, and Mitred squares, just to name a few.

Classes will meet from 2 pm-4pm, on the third Saturday of each month. $20 per class or $100 for 6 classes. Buy a punch card for as many classes as you like and use them for the classes of your choice.

February 20, 2010: Fair Isle Two-Color Knitting. This is a stranded 2-color knitting technique that is traditionally done in the round so that you only have to knit! You will knit a small bag. Be sure to get the handout when you sign up. Instructor, Robin Ziperman

March 20, 2010: Entrelac. Entrelac is a knitting technique used to create a textured diamond pattern. While the end result resembles basket-woven strips of knitted fabric, the actual material comprises interconnected squares on two different orientations. You'll be knitting a shawl. Get the handout when you sign up. Instructor, Tami Yinger

April 17, 2010: The Magic Loop. This technique allows you to knit small diameters in the round using a long circular needle instead of double pointed needles. It's great for socks, hats, and sleeves. Instructor, Robin Ziperman

May 15, 2010: Learn to Crochet. By learning how to make a Granny Square, you'll learn to chain, slip stitch, and double crochet. With these stitches and a variety of yarn choices you can make individual squares to sew into a blanket or one big square that will grow into an afghan. Instructor, Debra Hogan
